Back for a second season, Nissan GT Academy takes the nation's fastest Sony PS3 Gran Turismo 5 gamers and throws them into a real world boot camp at England's legendary Silverstone race track, in a do-or-die battle for the prestigious red helmet and a place on the Nissan racing team.Hosted by former NFL linebacker, Dhani Jones, the six week GT Academy TV series reveals all the action as the 16 competitors undergo grueling physical and psychological challenges, both on and off the track. Each week, pro racers Danny Sullivan, Maryeve Dufault and Boris Said judge their performance and decide who stays on, and who goes home. When the dust has cleared, only one will be crowned champion.
